Why I Write

I write for reflection and transmutation;

For sewing threads to reclaim what Jungian Analyst Clarissa Pinkola Estés refers to as one’s [lost] ‘handmade life’.

…

I write to utilize shadow.  So that shadow may inform light.

That seems an essence of what a glimmer is.

…

I write because now I can.

It was go to a monastery or sew with the what the fuck.

…

I write to be in some intersections maybe observers are familiar with, or maybe becoming familiar with, as this collective Awakening is here:

Late-identified Autism, PDA, Disability, ‘Identified Patient’,  Therapy Exploitation & Abuse, Ego, Forced Medicalization and Medication Withdrawal, Institutional Separation, Roads of Individuation & Wholeness, Awakening & Consciousness.  Balancing vulnerability and privilege, navigating consciousness as oppressor and oppressed.

…

Aspects of story are left out; They are woven to the Earth.

…

I write to ask what the donation my body, being, career(s), family, and so on — to coercive control and karmic enmeshment with the Medical and Mental Health Industries was about.

I write as someone for whom ‘losing the mind’ was a best source and to remember why it wasn’t advised sooner.

I write as someone who could no longer push away full incarnation.

…

I write as a PDA’er, a lightworker, a shadow-worker, a swimmer of the subtle energies.

I write having illuminated to my parents generational Soul-guidance from dreams.

(Dear god, though, can it not be like this.)

…

I write because I can at this time. With access to a laptop, motor ability, enough threat subsided.

…

I write to be with spiritual brokenness as a human experience.

…

I write because the material challenges the uncomfortable. Observers may doubt, reject, flail, fling; That will be the starting point of their work.

Full permission to leave is available.

…

I write because, for some – One need not type these words for them to be known. The embodiment that led you here is sufficient. I write anyway.

I write because I can hold a flame inside: For all to be seen and witnessed in omnipresent divinity and typicality.

…

The cartoon sign on the inside of the bathroom door at my childhood home said:

Enter.

Please be seated.

And remember: How long a minute is depends on which side of the door you’re on.

…

I write to navigate spaces in which plot points from that sign keep me open.

I write to remember.
